Did Brad show them any film on Harden.
It’s very effective and he’s very good at basketball. But it’s no fun to watch (I hate watching the Rockets in games where I have no rooting interest). And he gets tons of calls other guys don’t. If he couldn’t travel with impunity and didn’t get FTs every time he flopped, he’d be “only” a run of the mill all star, not an MVP level player. Before the Harden police comment I’ll just go ahead and say that nobody is arguing that it isn’t effective and that James Harden isn’t talented and very good at basketball.
But he plays the most cynical game in the league and it’s tedious as fuck.
He is playing by the same rules as everyone else. It’s just that others can’t take advantage of them like he does.I abhor Jame Harden’s game. He’s not even a top 15 player in the league if he plays by the same rules as everyone else. If Kyrie got half the calls Harden does, he’d average 35 a game..
The part of the NBA I don't get.. why is this guy the one you want to make a star?I had no problem watching Harden go off in the 1st quarter for 17 points on like 5/7 from deep. None at all. That's him being a great player, even if his "step back" is a travel that doesn't get called.
But this second half is everything that is wrong with his game, and the NBA officiating.
Bullshit he does. Harden doesn’t get called for the travel Smart did. Kyrie gets contact every time he goes into the lane against Philly and shot 1 FT. Harden is one of the biggest flop artists in the league and the refs eat that shit up.He is playing by the same rules as everyone else. It’s just that others can’t take advantage of them like he does.
It's kinda hard to say that when the argument hinges on a third party treating a guy like Kyrie the same. That's not in Kyrie's control. Harden gets a ton of calls that almost nobody else in the league would get outside of maybe LeBron. He is playing by the same rules as everyone else. It’s just that others can’t take advantage of them like he does.
