All he has to do is sit down after a shot and he goes to the line.

They won't show replays because they know it's bullshit.

Harden falls over. call.

The first half was nice because he didn't get all of those BS calls he usually gets.. and he was actually forced to play basketball. This second half tho

Gordon too afraid to go up for the layup there, so he makes a needless pass that’s almost a turnover because Semi has no reason to expect a pass there.

I abhor Jame Harden’s game. He’s not even a top 15 player in the league if he plays by the same rules as everyone else. If Kyrie got half the calls Harden does, he’d average 35 a game..

Before the Harden police comment I’ll just go ahead and say that nobody is arguing that it isn’t effective and that James Harden isn’t talented and very good at basketball.

But he plays the most cynical game in the league and it’s tedious as fuck.

Brad had success with the zone with two stops in a row. Should have stayed with it until the Rockets had success against it.

Here
Brown and Hayward both play well for once and they’re gonna lose by double digits. That stinks.

that was the most fucking ridiculously awful series of events under the C's basket I've ever seen, and it all started and ended with Gordon Hayward.

It’s very effective and he’s very good at basketball. But it’s no fun to watch (I hate watching the Rockets in games where I have no rooting interest). And he gets tons of calls other guys don’t. If he couldn’t travel with impunity and didn’t get FTs every time he flopped, he’d be “only” a run of the mill all star, not an MVP level player.

It's extremely hard to win when you get waxed on the boards as hard as the Celtics did.

This just isn't a real game if you call a foul every time he throws up a three.

I'm sorry, but how is it possible to enjoy watching this guy if you're not a rockets fan? This is brutal. He's talented, but also carried by the league.

It sucks that these games feel so much bigger than they should because the team fucking tanked against some real garbage competition.

He is playing by the same rules as everyone else. It’s just that others can’t take advantage of them like he does.

It’s been happening a lot lately. I feel like a broken record, but Al cannot function as a 5 against many teams in the NBA. Theis was brutal tonight, as well.

I had no problem watching Harden go off in the 1st quarter for 17 points on like 5/7 from deep. None at all. That's him being a great player, even if his "step back" is a travel that doesn't get called.

But this second half is everything that is wrong with his game, and the NBA officiating.

The officials were shit on both sides tonight. They didn’t give up 127 points. As usual the team played hard for a quarter and then got out of sync, gave up a shitload of open shots on defense, and couldn’t get it back. Wash, rinse, repeat. This season blows so far.

The part of the NBA I don't get.. why is this guy the one you want to make a star?

Bullshit he does. Harden doesn’t get called for the travel Smart did. Kyrie gets contact every time he goes into the lane against Philly and shot 1 FT. Harden is one of the biggest flop artists in the league and the refs eat that shit up.

It's kinda hard to say that when the argument hinges on a third party treating a guy like Kyrie the same. That's not in Kyrie's control. Harden gets a ton of calls that almost nobody else in the league would get outside of maybe LeBron.
