If that's Harden or Lebron or Durant, they're at the FT line...

Edit: It was a terrible shot, but still

I guess low-percentage 3s by Tatum are Brad's only call at the end of games now. Great.

Sorry, but a superstar player has to drive to the hoop down 1 on last possession. We should have come away with a win here.

God. I hate the long fadeaway three down 1
Especially against an elite defender like Brogdon.

I'd rather have Jaylen take it to the hoop and, if his path is blocked, pull up for a midrange jumper.

They seem to end up with that a lot at the end. I’d really like to see some movement or action on the final play when there’s 8 seconds left

I generally try to be the voice of reason even in gamethreads and this is going to come off reactionary but I’m increasingly becoming unsure what it is that Stevens brings to this team that other coaches wouldn’t. It’s not his late game play calling, that’s for sure.

That's the finish we deserve, numbers don't indicate this but ball-stopping offense by Tatum tonight. Can't believe he had 5 assists.

Grant and Semi aren’t nearly good enough on D to give up everything on O. Would be much better off with a shooting big who at least knows where to be and has some size.

Tatum whatever the f### you do, don't ever take it to the hoop in those situations. Just keep taking step back threes from 25 feet when all you need is 2 points. JC...

Lousy last shot. Tatum needs to at least make an attempt to go toward the hoop before taking a step back. Or just drive to the hoop and try to draw contact.

Very reminiscent of last season's playoffs - dribble the ball outside the three point line until there's about 1 second on the clock and then hoist up a prayer

The prayer against the Bucks was fool's good, if Tatum thinks he's going to make contested 3s regularly.

Down one, Jaylen Brown has a monster in the paint all game, and Tatum dribbles for a bit at the top of the arc and fires a long ass stepback three. Maybe try to get JB a look driving to the basket? I’m not surprised the offense sucks because the personnel isn’t good, but I’m pretty shocked at how shitty the coaching has been.

What cracks me up about this is the intense huddle that happens before the inbound. What are they talking about?

Remember when Stevens was lauded for his clever last second plays, when the scrappy underdog Celtics would win on the last possession?

Brad used to draw up a lot of nice plays after a time-out. I miss those days.

At least Pierce always jacked it up from like 18 feet. I don’t understand why Tatum is so obsessed with the step back three in those situations.

Ao the team comes out flat to start the second half, and gives up like 38 points in the third. Then they get back and make it a one possession game, and fail miserably on the last defensive possession and offense possession
