That is such a fucking putrid call, I can't even begin. Seriously, that's as bad as it gets. Unbelievable.
They definitely need everyone to get healthy and play Smart. But they need all their guys healthy and play smart, engaged basketball for full games.
Agreed, but this happens to even the best teams every year, more than once. I'm not worried about a 3 game losing streak after a long west coast trip in the middle of December3 home losses in a row means something needs fixed. They played well the 2nd half of this game.
But they need all their guys healthy and play smart, engaged basketball for full games.
I think if Smart had played tonight Haliburton would not have quite as big a night but who knows. Tough stretch for Boston but if they are going to underperform December is not a bad time to do it.So Rob didn't magically fix the defense. CJM has some work to do to earn that extension.
*cough* Bojan *cough*I love Derrick White but he is an inconsistent offensive player. This team needs another dependable scorer imo.
You know where I stand. White is a lot to give up and its not clear that stapling any C's draft assets to him will get it done. But I will be shocked if they don't even have a conversation.*cough* Bojan *cough*
His 3P% is expectedly cratering toward his career average. Love his defense but he’s a hell of a lot more useful when he’s reliably making open threes.I love Derrick White but he is an inconsistent offensive player. This team needs another dependable scorer imo.
Four of those games mostly uncompetitive wire to wire losses too.One Lakers choke job away from 6 straight L’s. Never would have guessed it. This team is pure trash right now.
Agreed. They were stomping teams when White was on his hot streak but he's just so inconsistent.I love Derrick White but he is an inconsistent offensive player. This team needs another dependable scorer imo.
If this team isn’t going to commit to playing defense, might as well get the better scorer/shooter.You know where I stand. White is a lot to give up and its not clear that stapling any C's draft assets to him will get it done. But I will be shocked if they don't even have a conversation.
I’m going to play sports psychologist here and suggest that the Dubs ruined their mojo. They need to find a way to get it back.I will say they haven’t had a full squad in a bunch of these iffy games and are trying to work TL back in. But there’s a lot of shit to figure out right now. They are stuck in “we can just flip the switch whenever” mode and it’s not flying against good teams or bad teams that are big game hunting.
This is disingenuous. They were down 2 in the beginning of the 3rd to GS, and 7 at the end of the 3rd in game 1 against Orlando.Four of those games mostly uncompetitive wire to wire losses too.
Agreed. They were stomping teams when White was on his hot streak but he's just so inconsistent.
Stevens is seeing what we are and I suspect the C's always knew the first ~30 games were a bit illusory. That said, given how the C's operate, they probably have someone else entirely lined up for a trade and we have no clue. But I will be shocked if they don't get one more piece. If this team isn’t going to commit to playing defense, might as well get the better scorer/shooter.
He's something else.Haliburton is just having a brilliant season.
