I've already admitted that useless was too strong of a word. I like him as a 3rd pair/ power play guy, but he's a little redundant on the roster right now with McAvoy and Grzelcyk.

Grz has played like 10 games in his career. I like him but let’s pump the brakes a bit. Krug has been a top 20-30 defenseman for like 3 years now. He has some warts, but he is very good.

Nice pass by Krug there but he's not a good 5 on 5 player and is redundant with McAvoy and Grzelcyk.
