Might not be the C's night. Golden State clearly has been waiting for this.

It’s not like the Warriors are doing anything defensively. The Celtics are just missing wide open 3s. That’s it.

And the prevailing narrative all week was that the Cs had this circled on their calendar and were going to make a statement. Sometimes the other guys have a say.

Offense has been fine. Defense has been an issue. Griffin and Kornet are basically unplayable against the Warriors because of how badly it compromises the defense. It looks like they tried some ice coverage on the PnRs there for a bit with Griffin out there, but he's still too far back.

Exactly. There's no compelling reason to have a guy bigger than Tatum out there against this Warriors lineup. Who are we worried about making us pay, Kuminga?
Honestly the only concern is someone like Curry driving without resistance, especially after screens, as we just saw.

The problem is that Griffin has decided not to move on D tonight and Kornet can't move much at baseline. So not much difference.

Our 5 best players are clearly Smart, White, Brogdon, Tatum, and Brown without Rob/Horford. So I'm good with letting it ride, especially since we're losing already.

It doesn't help that you wouldn't know Tatum was an MVP candidate—maybe the leading one—from watching him tonite.
