I wish the scorer could give screeners an assist. Heinen's positioning was what made it really hard for Bernier to react in time to the really-well-placed shot.

It’s hockey, and sometimes you don’t play well? Probably a result of the schedule and matchup. Detroit did beat them three times last year.
Fair enough, I'm just surprised at the sloppy, tentative play. If you think it IS matchup - what about the matchup is difficult to the B's style, or skills? Serious question, as Detroit doesn't seem to be presenting other teams the same issues right now.
