Why didn't they show the stupid thing with the VAR reviewer matching up the lines on the offside review of Salah's goal?

Like, it took four minutes yesterday for them to review Sheffield United's goal, yet they decided Salah was onside after about 15 seconds?

Lovren gives away the ball almost every time. That will lead to a goal before the day is out.

Annoyed to have dropped points already on less of a handball but I am not a fan of incidental contact handballs so I’m fine with no call. City lost their heads and didn’t have the composure to not get a break and although carrying play have played into Liverpool hands. The Laporte injury was just one City couldn’t afford. City lokk like scoring but I don’t see how not to concede 4

Sterling losing it on the left there, sometimes he reminds me of the old million dollar arm ten cent head adage
His frustration is understandable. TAA shoved him into the boards. And Aguero keeps drifting to his side to pick up the ball. it’s left Sterling in no mans land.

City need a Fernandinho in the middle. Rodrygo doesn’t seem to have his nose in there enough to protect the back line.

Walker loses his cool complaining to the ref, yells at teammates, doesn't mark his man.

A big reason they are losing.

Pool styling now.

Sterling much more threatening now that Aguero is staying central. But where’s Aguero now?

Just one of those days for City. Haven't seen a single break go their way.

Edit: That's not to take away from the masterful job Pool have done.

I don't even think Liverpool have been much better. 3-0 hugely flatters them on the balance of play. Pool have just done a better job of converting their threatening opportunities than City.

Agree, although that's what Liverpool does. They've defended very well and been typically clinical on the counter. They've gotten some breaks overall, and that's why it's a 3-nil score line. I mean, this has kind of been just how Klopp would have drawn it up, no?

Is this a Waldo question? He's on the bench now. ;-)

Liverpool has had better composure; easier to do at home but MC has been out of sync all game.

LOL. Other than the whiff on KDB’s perfect cross?

Fabinho & VVD have done a fantastic job completing stuffing City’s threats in the middle.

Love that announcers are talking up City injuries and yet they have Silva, Jesus, MArhez et al on the bench

Getting a little chippy here at the end.
It was the Liverpool subs going most of that man handling, though Robertson and Mane took their shots too at the end. Have to think Klopp told them to go out there and be physical to close out the match.

City didn’t take their chances. They had some excellent opportunities, but came up empty time and again.

Thank god VAR sucks, because if it got the handball on TAA right, would have been a different match.
