Watford beat Norwich yesterday. They were the only team in the Football League and in the top five European leagues without a win.

Chelsea look bright at Pslace. Pusilic is dangerous.

I always say this, I love Palace kits with the sash.

Our dog got spayed yesterday and is sleeping with the cone around her neck. Lil O is snuggled against me asleep. My coffee is cold and I want another but I can’t get up.

You re now up to date.

Beautiful touch by Willian to break the line & get Abraham in.

I thought this was going to be a down season for Chelsea with the transfer ban, new manager, and losing Hazard, but they are looking great. The top 4 race might have three locks already.

ooooh, beautiful touch and control from Pulisic. Might have done better to put the shot towards the upper 90. But still so well done to make the chance

Pulisic with the opportunistic goal. He’s in the groove right now - getting to good spots, making good moves, finding the net.

I’m worried about my darlings Norwich. They have lost - maybe never had? - the ability to defend. They apparently though the City game was enough to keep them up.

I agree. They've had such a brutal run of injuries though.

Still 0-0 after half an hour, but Spurs are getting outplayed at home by Sheffield United, which perhaps shouldn't be surprising given Spurs' performances this season.

Spurs are playing Sissoko as a lone deep-lying midfield pivot against a pressing team and, shockingly, they are having trouble progressing the ball through midfield. I don't understand why Ndombele or Lo Celso don't come deeper to provide another passing option.

Spurs performance is the very definition of “lackluster”. Son is only player showing any urgency, and it seems too much to ask just to get the ball from Gazzaniga to any possession in the offensive half. Aside from taking a throw in, I can’t recall Kane touching the ball. And why the fuck is Harry Fucking Kane taking a throw-in?

Poch brinks his binky Winks comes on for Ndombele at halftime. I'm skeptical this will help.

I also don't know why the announcers think Winks is a better passer than Ndombele, because he's not. Other than, you know, that Winks is white and Ndombele is black.

That Son incident is a classic example of the unwritten rule whereby if the offensive player gets a shot away, it's not a penalty even if he's fouled in the act of shooting.

i said that Blades were the real deal a couple of weeks ago and I got stick for it.

they’re sixth in the table and have conceded only 9 goals, second best defense in PL

Toffees score early, pull their usual trick of dominating for 40+ minutes without scoring a second then giving up a cheapie on a corner, but then find a second via a nifty Richarlison move to win at Southampton. Should have been a comfortable win but a win is a win.

This match hasn't really got going. Arsenal seem to be treating this as a must not lose, which is fair enough. Be interesting to see what adjustments Leicester make in the second half, cos I haven't seen enough of them to know what their Plans B to everything else are.

Maddison with a lovely straight line strike to score. This isn't good for Emery. Has he gone to the subs bench yet?

Edit: Pepe for Holding. Seems like he's left it a bit late.

I'm not saying some of the Arsenal players downed tools, but that did seem like quite a limp second half performance.

Arsenal actually carried play in the midfield in the 2nd until the goal, but this is basically what the final-third offense has been all season when not being masked by ridiculous conversion rates from Auba and Martinelli.

@OilCanShotTupac is Michael keane done being a starter?
yes.

Holgate has taken his spot. Solid with clearances and blocks, excellent on the ball, and a goal and two assists in three starts including an assist today for Davies goal.

Holgate gives big Mina (Everton’s best player this season) a partner with pace. Keane is a similar player to Mina re size and style but too prone to big errors and dips in confidence.

Thanks. I just dropped Keane from my fantasy squad.
oh yeah, like a hot rock.

after Norwich next week Everton has aterrrun of fixtures but otherwise I’d be bringing in Holgate at 4.4. Already one of the better attacking passers in the side Although that’s a low bar.

Up until the goal the match was there for either side. Both sides had moments, but Leicester looked more efficient going forwards. I've not studied Arsenal enough to say first hand but there seems to be a disconnect from midfield to the front players. After the second goal they still had time to get one back and make it interesting, but it was like the wind went out their sales.

Citeh looked like peak Chelsea the way they ignored the match and went after the ref. Nicely punished, too.

Fabinho!

And that was a handball on TAA. He stretched out towards the ball.

It was reviewable, VAR just didn't overturn it, which is nonsense. Perhaps hard to see in real time, but it was an obvious penalty on review.
