Joe thinks Hauser is going to wreck the defense but the “good” defenders are doing that all on their own so maybe why not get some spacing.

Well, we get Tatum vs Morant for the balance of a quarter to decide close game. That's pretty awesome right there.

0 pass possessions if you aren’t taking a layup or aren’t Jayson Tatum should never happen.

While I don’t think he has been great I do like Jaylen pressing the issue when the last quarter saw about 4-5 kick outs by guys who had a fucktonne of space in the paint.

Morant has been around 32 minutes a game, but maybe they try and get 35 out of him and put him back in now.

That 9 guys averaging 30 points stat is silly. Why not compare to what is historically true at this point in the season so it has some meaning instead of none?

Tatum is the 2nd best player in the league this year.
I happened to look at MVP odds this afternoon. Tatum was +700 which doesn't sound that great, but he was 3rd most likely according to the odds, which is something. The market has never had him anywhere near that before. His D is being recognized.

Tatum is 3-11 from 3 and is still having an efficient scoring night. There's no way that would have happened in previous years.

They’re defending Ja a little bit like his big brother Jannis, get size on him, yield the three 3, then crowd him when he makes his move deep in the paint.
