Which is how RB's get hit 20X a game, Cam was a runner not a QB at that point. It was a bad call and obvious it was a bad call as the refs simply said it was a personal foul without explanation. Makeup call for the early TD called back.
Smart to play conservative and wait for the 15 yard penalty on the final drive to get the winning score. Bill is playing chess.
Technically wouldn’t have been in that position given the 4 points that were stolen but still, that’s a tough way to lose it for AZ. They were pretty bad today though.
He is a really really bad coach. With a competent coach, the Cards win the game.
No reason not to take the FG at the end of the half. Not to mention his awful clock management.

Calling one earlier to avoid the five yard penalty on first down was also questionable, as was letting the clock go to 4 seconds at the end of the first half.
So the Pats have beaten the following teams that are either playoff teams or are right there in the playoff mix:

Baltimore
Arizona
They should have beaten Seattle. And definitely could have beaten Buffalo.
They've also gotten beaten by godawful teams like Denver and Houston.

Bernard Hopkins was screaming it to the camera the entire last 2 minutes lol.
They missed a ton of easy plays. The stop at the end of the first half was such a key play.
Going for it to end the half was a terrible call and cost them the game.
You are playing a team that struggles to score, just take the points...instead, they did not and lost by 3.
And they missed a pretty reasonable FG from 45 yards. Just like they lost to the Pats in 2016 giving Jimmy G the win.

The way the NFL protects quarterbacks, that was an obvious call. The defender made a bonehead play. Even if he does the normal thing and let Cam run out of bounds, there’s a good chance the Pats get into FG position anyways, especially if they just ran Cam.
if the offense was tailored more to Cam running the ball, the tram could have 7 wins right now. Really bad coaching this season. The lack of normal practice time hurts the better coached teams more.

This pretty much sums up the season nicely.
7-4 is where they should be sitting.........................
Browns and Dolphins stacking up wins will make any bid to get the final wild card spot pretty challenging.
Cards should be kicking themselves for losing this. Pats only got TDs on short fields, and of course the FG kicks at the end. Special teams.

I like the Rams, Bucs and Packers in the NFC with the Niners probably out of it.
