Fucking hate this team so much. Fool’s gold against the dregs but completely shit down their legs against a decent team. Nothing has changed. .500 and a play in game. Yay!

Tatum needs to link up with Matt Judon and learn how to become a pit bull. Dude is straight baby thighs as the great Ghostface Killah would say.

They haven’t found any the last few off seasons, but next year, they finally will?

I know it’s early and all, but another mediocre year and is there any chance they just start over?
Depends who is available. They won't move either for a player who isn't just as good unless they have to.

Could be that this team needs everyone healthy to be competitive. They don't have enough star power to get by on talent. Otoh... How does that explain patty Mills outplaying everyone?
Yeah, C's are 7 deep. If one guy is injured, it has a huge ripple effect. Never mind 2. That's on Stevens though.

There is no untradeable player on the roster. What matters is return and fit.

kinda feels like if you are gonna trade one of them, you trade both, get a few young players and picks and try again. I dunno, none of the options seem good.
Wyc would never let Stevens trade both J’s, as the assets they get back would set the team back by decades. So it ain’t happening.

One game.
They got their heads up their asses.

I don't like it, but it happens.

More interested in the next game and how they respond.
It's not 1 game though. They are about to be 10-9. People said they'd measure them at the 20 game mark. Is that going to shift?

Our perspectives are different.
They played pretty weeks for 3 weeks
They played like shit tonight.
You are ignoring some pretty bad games in the middle of that stretch and the bad stretch at the beginning of the year. Teams that around .500 have good and bad stretches.

Hope I'm wrong but I don't see this team winning more than 46 games at best.

What so you mean “set them back decades”? How so? Either the the team led by Tatum and or Brown is good enough to win or it isn’t. The quicker the decision is made, the better. Surround the core with talent or develop a new core.Languishing as a mediocre non contender doesn’t seem good for anyone

This is where I’m at. The team is a work in progress. Brown is still playing his way back into shape, they are teeing off on Tatum as a result and Schröder doesn’t have his extra mojo tonight. Also: no Rob tonight matters with Aldridge. Let’s not turn this into a “Time to trade the Jays” exhibit A.

JAYs today may be different than JAYs in 2yrs.

expecting them to improve is a strategy

Then they do just enough to probably bring the starters back in until the coach yanks them out at the 4 or 5 minute mark to put in the youth unit.

Even if you want to keep both the Jays, you can think this team sucks.

Not directed at you, but I feel like it’s the same excuse after the same excuse offered for three years now. They still suck. What’s going on?

yeah, and RW is available about half the time and JB always misses a ton of time. It’s just a lot of excuses.Nets haven’t had Kyrie all year and seem ok

Nope taking it all in. They've won 8 of their last 11 games after a brutal start where they did nothing right.

I see a much better defensive team that has generally played hard.

Tonight I see a team playing terribly both sides of the court,

I'm not going to over-react.

I'll leave that to others.

My perspective is different.

As already posted, I'm more interested in how they rebound from this ass-kicking.

Starting Unit with Marcus at the 1:

To begin game - Down 18-9 in first 5:30 of game before Schroder inserted.

To begin 2H: Outscored 11-3 in first 2:30 before Udoka inserts Schroder.

Will Ime learn or will Ime remain stubborn?

LOL the broadcast team praising Marcus the PG based on his +/- most of which came when he was playing next to Schroder. My head hurts
