So not agreeing with you that a rookie big who hasn't proven he can play in the NBA is the Celtics missing ingredient is being obtuse? Lets agree to disagree.
I'm mostly with you on not panicking, DeJesus, but I don't think Brad has earned the benefit of the doubt with any of his decisions this year. I'm fine with people suggesting that he might be missing something in RWill.

They basically need Kyrie to just take over for a week imo. Everyone is just so tight and missing makeable shots because they are all too aware of how bad they’ve been. It’s hard to quantify but I think they’ll all settle down if a few guys take the pressure off by making shots. Kyrie probably has the most confidence of all of them so it’s probably going to take him playing like he’s on a really bad team and taking the responsibility of shooting no matter how bad he is.
They all Kyrie offense only works for so long... then everyone else gets disinterested, Kyrie gets gassed, and the whole thing stops...

deep inside Guido territory
Dude, they just gave up 65 points to the Knicks in the 1st half, including 39 in the 2nd quarter. Sure, when they miss, it leads to easier opportunities, but this is the BEST DEFENSE IN THE NBA (or so I've been told), so it all can't be explained away by missing shots.
No it can't. I'm not blaming the struggles just on missed shots but it's 75% of the problem. The defense stinks tonight sure, but for the vast majority of the other games it's been the offense.

I never said he was the missing ingredient. I never said I know more about basketball than Ainge. I’ll agree to let you stop trying to put words in other peoples’ mouths.

Great defense on one end by Jaylen, gets rewarded by getting hammered taking it to the hoop and getting no call.

2/18 from deep or whatever it is now is beyond bad. This is on everyone. Hitting open looks shouldn't be this hard.

It’s not a recipe for long term success but in my view tons of guys are shooting scared. They need to loosen up and he’s probably going to have to will them there. It’s basically the same reason why role players suck on the road in the NBA playoffs. Just play a little tighter and shots rim out. Players like Kyrie and Morris have a type of confidence where they can miss 10 straight and are convinced they’ll make the next 10. They may have to do it to get the rest of the guys loose enough to start seeing a few fall again. This is all psychobabble nonsense but I think there’s a lot of that in basketball

This game is right there for the taking. Just need a mini run to close out the 3rd.

As bad as Jaylen has played this year, I'm still really hopeful for him.

As far as Rozier, I will drive his ass to the airport if Danny trades him for a bucket of balls.

Rozier two bad misses to end the quarter was the most predictable thing ever

Terry has looked horrific all year. I have tried to be patient, but I really think trading him would be addition by subtraction at this point.

The kick out to Baynes for the brick 3 when they had a chance to cut it to single digits killed their momentum. That they couldn’t get a better look was the real problem tho.

I need a trial separation from watching Rozier
I agree with you here. I think a swap for a game manager type would be ideal. They just need a competent distributor who takes what he is given and isn't trying to take over. I think moving Rozier is an obvious move at this point.

If someone had told me that Hardaway would be 4/15 from the field, and the Celtics would be down by 15 after 3 quarters, I would have laughed in their face.

I think the turning on Stevens stuff is sheer lunacy. Must be what it is like to be a Pats fan when people are going nuts about BB. They’re 3-22 from 3 tonight there isn’t a coach in the league who doesn’t have their team shooting 3s.

Didn't everything start to turn shitty after Rozier's agent spoke out about his playing time?
