Holy wow Clifton's interview on NESN was fantastic. Had no idea what he was doing, had no idea what happened on the ice, talked over Alex constantly, and was completely in information overload trying to process the game at NHL speed. He was also clearly having the time of his life.
That's fascinating, he doesn't look like he's having any trouble processing the game when he's on the ice.

DeBrusk did a great job getting back but would have liked a bit of a better stick check there. Alas.

Larkin is having a monster game for Detroit.

Glad nothing came of Lauzon and Clifton being stuck out there together after the icing.

That sucks. It's tough to be disappointed when you dominate a game with the lineup they played tonight...but Detroit is really bad

Yeah, especially with a Pittsburgh, Montreal and Toronto 3 in 4 coming up this weekend. They deserved the 2 tonight, but they just don’t have the finish to put away a team like Detroit right now. Hard to win 1-0 and 2-1 games every night.
