The Bs are in Tampa to take on the Lightning tonight at 7:00 ET. Andrei Vasilevskiy, who's been out all season with a herniated disc, started practicing with the Lightning last week, but it's unclear (to me) whether he's ready to return to game action.

Dads trip.

Guessing no lineup changes.

Marchand - Zacha - Pastrnak
van Riemsdyk - Coyle - Frederic
Heinen - Poitras - DeBrusk
Lauko - Beecher - Steen

Lohrei - McAvoy
Lindholm - Carlo
Forbort - Shattenkirk

He went down mid-way through training camp. Even ignoring rehabing from back surgery, he likely needs more than a week to get into game shape.

I know Cooper said Vasi was ahead of schedule but I believe the timeline is still around December 1 from everything I've read.

Well, Johansson and Tomkins are inexperienced (and have stunk to the extent they've played in the NHL), so I'll be happy to avoid Vasilevskiy.

Tomkins is like an EBUG. He was drafted in the 7th round and got an ELC after college but never caught hold, spending more time in the ECHL than the AHL which is never a good sign. Spent the last 2-years in Sweden. Tampa signed him down the stretch last season and he made his NHL debut this year at the age of 29. They seem terrified of using him as he's only played 3 games, none since 11/7, and the guy in front of him is a journeyman who only had 35 NHL appearances prior to this season.

Right, they're not prospects. They hug each other win or lose because they both marvel at their fortune of even being in the NHL.

I'm still wondering which comes first: That I find Waldo or Jake scores. And PS to the B's: shots on goal will be rewarded. This guy sucks.
