Sadly tomorrow is cshea’s last day in Kauai. That is sad. However, the Bruins will beat the Leafs and we’ll continue this journey when I’m back in Boston.

Think this is only on ESPN+ and Hulu. Know it's not on NESN. Any other streaming options?

IDK, the correlation between lack of regulation losses and your feet being up on the beach seems too strong to ignore. I think you owe it to us to stay in Hawaii.

I'm not really sure what was played. I just kind of moved my lips while I slid my hand back and forth. It seemed to work, though.

The less exciting, but more accurate view of the story is thusly:

I went to school across the river from RPI, where my cousin was. He was in the band-- we had both played trombone through highschool. One parent's weekend, he dialed me up on the ole rotary telephone and said "my parents are coming out for parents weekend, want to come and sit in with the band the hockey game, and go out for dinner later? Just fake play, no one will know" I said "free food? I've faked more for less than that"... and there we had it.

All this Trombone talk suggests that someone on the Bruins ought to get a Shorty tonight.

right here
It really grinds my gears that I pay a decent amount for cable/NESN and more on top of that for the NHL package and yet I can't watch this game tonight.

The amount of streaming services needed for all these games is turning me into a grumpy old man. I’m just not watching tonight.

ESPN+ blank TV screen says “We’re having trouble playing this”

Just great. I pay for this so I can watch hockey games.

Watching on iPad. Go figure.

Well all I can say is that ESPN+ might as well be HNC+ because its ball washing night. That said, the kid looks good!

Nick Kypreos having a meltdown on the leafs broadcast about Marchand, calling for a suspension. He’s also moping that the Leafs didn’t retaliate.

What rules guy? He stuck his stick between his legs and hiked one - a classic - and dangerous can opener

Edit - watching on Sportsnet - intermission panel all agreed on a penalty .
I’m betting ESPN carries an ex-ref to interpret some reffing decisions. As implied above, they probably deferred to the on-ice officials.

As far as the nonsense talk of a suspension, if it were anyone other than 63, I’d like to think everyone would see that he was manipulating his stick to handle the puck and just awkwardly found Liljegren’s left leg. It’s not like the puck was nowhere near their feet.

I don’t think the bench had a good view of the play - obviously neither did the refs. If they watch the replay in the intermission there might be a slightly more animated response
