Corey Dillon’s first season here may forever be the most impressive running performance from a single Patriots back that I’ll ever see, but hard not to be ecstatic over Rhamondre.
Curtis Martin was amazing with the Pats before heading to the Jets. Had some incredible runs in those 3 years.

Falcons defense might just about be ready to give up a long running play for a touchdown

TNF games are hard to use as a barometer. A week ago the Ravens got smoked by the Dolphins.
I know this is the common belief. But I ran stats across the last 20 years worth of NFL games for our SoSH survivor, and upsets do not happen with greater frequency on Thursdays than the rest of the week.

My guess is that it’s just a hypothesis which seems to make sense (because of the shortened week) and confirmation bias takes over from there. This is what leads to the belief being widely held.

The Dolphins beating the Ravens could have happened on Sunday and you would not have attributed it to being a Thursday phenomenon.

Also possible it’s just more noticeable since it’s the only game happening that day

Upsets might not but shitty football in general definitely does
