Feels like a "play four solid minutes in fourth and win" situation

But you do actually need to play those minutes.

If they’re just going to screw around put in the stay ready crew. This is the piss poor random November Tuesday effort they mostly avoided last year.

Is it a hot take to say Atlanta is better without Trae Young?
Nope. It is really unclear he's a positive player---analytics types have speculated on this for a while now. I do think 'volume offense' is underrated, but he's such an extreme case I just am not sure you can REALLY win with him.

So, to me, fair take. At a minimum, even if they are 'closer to a .500 team' with him, they are not a legit playoff team with him

If I didn't have a rooting interest in this game, I'd say the Hawks deserve to win. Their effort and hustle should be rewarded. The C's are sleepwalking.
Eh, I don’t subscribe to this ‘deserve to win’ principle, but they sure as hell have played themselves into a dogfight at the end.

23 more FGAs for Atlanta so far. Some of that is free throws (Celtics are +12 from the line), but good lord that's a lot to overcome.
