I didn't see this being discussed anywhere (probably because the movie is on Showtime ) so I figured I would get this started.

100% Julian Edelman highlights

Edelman's story that really focuses on his relationship with his dad. What I found interesting was the way they handled the 4 game PED suspension. No apology just admitting it happened and that the move was a mistake. Good stuff all the way around.

Edelman was on PMT this week and he gave an incredible interview. I highly recommend. It was extremely funny and, obviously, it was very very Patriots heavy. He also talked a good amount about this doc and it was illuminating regarding the process. If you're a Pats fan, listen to this interview.

Great video, well done with fun cameos. Guy is just someone you root for, Brady's comment was just perfect, "Well I think he's always been my kid brother that I never had and you know, never wanted."

100% agreed. He has a great rapport with Big Cat and PFT. Sounds like he was asked to do the doc during the Atlanta super bowl season and he backed out. Then his people said, "how great would that have been?" Then he just decided to do it after the ACL.

And they can get away with busting his balls and it never gets uncomfortable. The part where they made fun of him for thirst trapping his dad in the father's day post was hilarious! It even sounded like Edelman's crew was laughing about that one.

And as always, his Belichick impersonation is spot on.

Good show, not great. Worth the hour, but not the extra time
Toucher and Rich were shitting all over this this morning, particularly the participation of Guy Fieri (I haven't seen it yet, so I'm not sure wtf Guy Fieri is doing in a JE11 documentary). In fairness, Rich said he actually enjoyed it immensely and had no problem with how "cheesy" a lot of it was. Fred hadn't seen it yet.

I mean, I think that was kind of the joke.

Like in the movie The Big Short where you had Anthony Bourdain and Margot Robbie, as themselves, explaining things.

Wait--I just reread this---they "shit all over it", yet one of them "enjoyed it immensely" and the other hadn't seen it? Par for the course.

It was ok. Featured a lot of people I hate - Marky Mark, Portnoy and Rapoport. The best parts were the relationship with his dad and the training methods he used. It didn’t really go that deep into anything or give a ton of insight, but it was fun for an hour.

i enjoyed it. It definitely doesn’t take itself too seriously. Starting with the Marky Mark intro through the credits with Edelman making fun of Amendola.
There were some good ribs at Brady too. The empty chair was one but there was another one during one of the animated bits. There’s a pic of Edelman and next to it is a candle with Brady and the baby goat on it.

"We hoped to get Brady here. You know, after I did those 14 things for him."

He mentioned in it he's starting a production company. This was kind of like their trial run I'd guess.
