To my eye they are just a bit uncomfortable in rotations and 2nd guessing a bit. Hopefully as they play together it will get better. Kinda think they want to limit paint drives, and are willing to live with few threes

Not specific to today, but smart has a lot in common with Christian Vasquez. Both are known more for their defense. Both are considered tough and gritty, both seem prone to lapses in concentration and poor situational awareness, and both have more confidence on offense than they should.

I would love to see MS knock some solid singles into right field and play solid D.
