Uhhh No they wouldn't. Almost every tackle on RB/ WR plus the DB and NFL lineman has more hits than that.
Don’t think they played particularly well on offense, lots of turnover, but still were able to hold them to 104 and that was good enough. Team can beat you on both ends.

Yep, in past years, that's a game they lose by 5 points and you go "eh, tough game on the road with shitty refs, whatever." Fact they were able to still get the W is a really encouraging sign.
He was at the scorers table up 5, then Smart hit the layup and the Heat took a TO so I understand Joe not wanting to get him back in on the defensive end where he could pick up 6. Then they got a stop and Tatum got fouled at the other end and it was pretty much over at that point so no reason to get him back in.
Great start to the season. Convincing wins over conference rivals Philly and Miami. JT and JB both playing very well to start. Excellent.
Fun win. I really like this roster. Only two games in, but I’m relaxing about rolling with our current bench bigs until Rob is healthy —the rotation held up fine against Embiid and Bam. Love the addition of Brogdon, and Hauser looks like he belongs on the floor this year.
Basically this game down the stretch last year, which was in Boston to boot.
Seeing all those pluses from the bench tonight is damned nice. Sucks we lost the extra depth of Gallo but feeling good that they can more than keep things afloat while Part-Time Lord gets well.
Can’t wait to see them go up against some lesser teams. Really curious to see how well they can still put the clamps on they way they did in the 2nd half last season.
Look forward to having PTL in there again as well.. if they can get lockdown defense without him.. THEN put him in there as well.. man. I like that they're doing this to the best teams right out of the gate without him. They have so many more options than they did last year. Adding Brogdon was a huge get.
This team feels... mad. They don't feel complacent. This just feels very different than even the team from the Playoffs last year, and it's only game 2.
And Red never won one game that mattered in Florida. Point Mazzulla.
Getting the win against the 2 best bigs in the conference without TL and really, without Horford playing well in either game.

With Bam out there (+20), the Cs at times struggled to score and were definitely slashing less to the basket. As soon as he was out, it felt like a layup line.
But if the Cs can be straight up with other teams' starters and then blow away the reserves, that'll work.

Good point. The Celtics starting five is really good and can keep up with or best any other starting five in the league. SSS but the Celtics bench has been excellent to start the season outscoring their competition 34-11 and 27-21 in the first two games. I don’t know rosters across the NBA very well but I would guess Brogdon and Grant Williams are better than most team’s 6th and 7th men. This Celtics team has depth and is going to get deeper when TL returns. This season is going to be a lot of fun.
As pointed out above, Bam was +20 last night. The best thing the Cs did against Bam was to make him set 3 illegal screens. But Bam is great and a tough cover given the way MIA runs their offense and the Cs play defense.
Old friend Max Strus was -25 and it looks like Doogie Hauser has thankfully eliminated all of the, "Why can't we get guys like that?" comments.
I felt like Bam was shooting way better than the playoffs last year. That was the biggest difference in my mind. I’m not sure he shoots that well against TL, who can contest his 15-18’ jumpers without worrying about getting beat to the bucket.
It will be interesting to see if Pritch gets some run tonight against Orlando and Marcus drops from 33 mins to 25 like Brogdon and White got last night.
