That Houck has only pitched one inning in the series is odd. Then again, the way they pull him anytime he runs into any kind of trouble is also confusing. Of course, it probably didn’t make a difference since this team hasn’t hit a lick the last few days. This team isn’t going to win unless it scores like 5+

Valdez just eliminated any pitching advantage the Sox may have had going into Friday. If their starter doesn't have it they have the horses to mix and match their way to a win.

Anybody else really tired of Joe Buck’s monotone drivel. He keeps talking about Valdez’s late break. I saw a lot of straight pitches that the Sox swung over the top of. … Valdez pitched well, but I really did not see what Buck was talking about.

Houck should have started the sixth and that he didn’t appear at all in a pivotal game is concerning.

Feels like a pretty important next couple of hours for how we collectively feel about Chris Sale historically.

David Price didn't need too much to change everything.
I can’t blame Sale. Sox couldn’t hit, and finally, having a DH playing 1st cost us. Dalbec might have made that dribbler into a double play by catching the throw and getting Altuve at third.

Actually since Cora publicly embarrassed him.
You really think Coras reaction caused the redsox players to back off?

Rodriguez firing up the astros players seems a lot more likely to me.

Or much more likely neither had a meaningful impact and both teams pulling some reversion from a lopsided couple of games.

Right Here
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I can't believe Erod pointing at his wrist caused the pitching, defense, and offense to implode. When does Shaughnessy's book come out?
