Celtics basketball finally returns tomorrow, even if just preseason. Also 17 days away from opening night, which is crazy. I can’t imagine the starters will play much, but still should be a fun watch.

Obviously you’re going to get mostly fluff right now, but the team apparently looks damn good. This is definitely the most I’ve looked forward to a season, even with the Ime stuff/Rob and Gallo injuries.

Malcolm Brogdon was the guy that I always wanted the Celtics to acquire to play with the Jays, and that they got himfor such a cheap price makes the gamble on his health worthwhile. Hopefully now that he’s in a row where he doesn’t have to have incredibly high usage he can stay healthy.

Looking forward to seeing MB play. The other thing I’m looking for is to see how seamlessly this team plays, with almost everybody coming back. Regarding the reserves, I’d really like to see Kabengele put it together, and am interested to see how Pritchard handles being moved down in the rotation. I also would like to see if Sam Houser can play within the Celtics defensive concepts. I expect him to still be good at making three pointers even with the Big club.

My League Pass doesn't kick in till the regular season starts, and I'm out of market. Any suggestions for live-streaming today's game?

EDIT: Looks like the game is on NBA-TV, so I'm good.

OK, I'm loving no more take fouls. Insane it took so many years to implement.

C's turning it over like they're back in the playoffs.

Usually when I want turnovers I go to Mike’s Pastry, and not the TD Garden

So I guess we know what Grant Williams was working on this summer. Drive game activated in year four.

There a Mikes outpost in the new food hall next door
Let’s keep the turnovers in the food court. I know it’s preseason but come on. That should be the entire point of emphasis offensively for the starters

Vonleh looks smallish. I hope the team is not going to rely on him to get rebounds and be physical without fouling

The hornets tried to attack Houser off the dribble but he did a great job

It looks like Malcolm set up Tatum for a perfect jumper in the left slot, but Tatum decided to put the ball on the deck and turned it over. He’s going to have to get used to the catch and shoot again

It must suck trying to run offense against the Celtics defense. Every cut and every swing of the ball is defended
