Hauser surprisingly didn't look all that bad on defense. Obviously, he's in there to make threes, but if he can play close to average defense, he's a steal.

Concord
They obviously need to clean it up, but a lot of these turnovers feels like they are trying to make midseason passes and the timing isn't there yet

I'd somehow forgotten how freakishly explosive Jaylen Brown is when healthy.

Hauser and Gele ... gelling ... would be huge, given the big situation.

Hauser had some brilliant shooting stats in college. So glad Brad didn't let him get away.

This game is making me think Luka Saminic's chances of making the roster are slim to none.

I know there’s absolutely no shot, but as a UNC fan, I’d love it if Justin Jackson made this team.
Several of these reserves appear to be the shooters we hoped Nesmith would become.

Early impressions: Hauser appears to have grown into a somewhat competent defender, which is great news. Davison really impressed me. I know he was playing against the deep bench, but he's only what, 19, and he plays fast and makes decisions fast, and can get to the bucket, plus shows good poise. The NBA game probably better suits him better than the college game. I'm skeptical Madar will amount to anything, but Begarin might, so that's a stash that may pay off additionally.

My concern is whether they have enough size. Hopefully Blake still rebounds well. Also, I want to see if they revert to the stagnant offense of the past when they're not shooting 47% from three. But a nice win, even if it's only preseason. Reminds me of the first year they had Allen, KG and Pierce, and they were beating everyone by like 20 in the preseason.

I, for one, LOVE Mazzulla's tone and how humble he appears to be taking it, especially in the post game presser
Very impressive debut post game presser. Impressive coaching debut. He didn’t overreact to the early turnover fest. He got everyone minutes in a way where there was continuity on defense.

Can a mod start a new thread for 2022-23 games? Time to start fresh.
