Willie Desjardins' comments about coaching a team without NHL players:

"That's what I've been doing for the past few years," he said on Tuesday. "When it comes to teams like this, simplicity is the name of the game."

"We never had any whiteboards on the bench. X’s and O’s got a little confusing for most of the guys, so before each game we'd pick one theme and stick with it."

"These can vary between focusing on our skating, or passing, or shooting."

That tells you about all you need to know

Bergeron practicing, but no contact. Spooner is MIA from practice. Feels like Bergeron isn’t there yet. They’ll need a center of both can’t go tomorrow.

New lineup at practices. Beleskey and Vatrano banished.

Marchand - Bergeron - Bjork
DeBrusk - Krejci - Pastrnak
Agostino - Nash - Cehlarik
Schaller - Kuraly - Backes

Chara - McAvoy
Krug - Carlo
Miller - McQuaid

Yep, sounds like he's doubtful for tomorrow, so Bergeron is likely out. So, that's the bad news. In worse news, Rask had to be helped off the ice just now after Bjork ran into him.

However, silver lining? Spooner looks like he won't play. Yay!

Cassidy says Rask is “hopefully fine.”

Bergeron not ruled out tomorrow, but Backes and McQuaid are closer to locks to play tomorrow.

Spooner update likely coming later today. That usually means out for a bit.

Joe McDonald says the Bruins brought McIntyre up as a precaution in case Rask can’t go tonight. The team hasn’t made anything official, but that would explain the Cehlarik demotion. Guess we’ll see what’s going on at the morning skate.

Honest to Bjork at the start of that pp I said "let's get 3 on this one".
Next time I'll set my sights higher.
