That doesn't matter on something like this. It matters on block/charge calls, but not this. I mean, think about it. The defender is in the restricted area so the offensive player with the ball swings his elbow and breaks the defender's nose. No call, hey buddy, you're in the restricted area!

Should have been a flagrant 1 on Embiid.

Disagree. Vonleh was late and not in legal guarding position, so his face kind of got in the way as Embiid went up. Good no call.

One thing about Grant betting on himself is that he might be the player with the most to gain from the Celtics playing faster and with more ball movement on offense.

Vonleh and Griffin haven't been spectacular - but I give them credit for banging bodies down low with Embiid and putting a lot of hustle in

Vonleh was rough the first couple minutes---likely jitters---but has been solid since.
