Good morning from outside RSN Diaspora World Headquarters:

56609

We have some unfinised business to attend to after the way last season ended. I'd say this is an Eastern Conference title defense, but we don't hang banners for second place. This year, we get over the hump and win the whole fuckin' thing.

Joe hasn't announced his starting five yet, but I expect to see Tatum, Brown, White, Horford, and Smart at tip off. With Time Lord out several more weeks, I'm curious to see how they manage Horford's load in the opening months.

7:30 tip, TNT, Celts currently at -2.

WIN.

As glorious as last season was overall, can a mod please start 2022-23 Game Threads?

Seconds and triples the "no banners for second place".

But I must ask: would you take a Celt's loss TODAY for MFY loss TODAY.
That is: take a loss OF THIS GAME to guarantee that YED is today?

No. Baseball season ended for me after the Sox' 162nd game. We came agonizingly close to a championship last year, and I want one this year. More wins means more chances at home court.

Looking forward to another season of mature, adult discourse with the fine people of the Port Cellar.

Let's do this.

It's time. I want Jaylen to average 35ppg and Tatum to do, well, everything.

As much as I'd hate to see it, as a fan that watches every minute of every game, I'd have no problem if the C's go full load management this year, nobody playing over 60-65 games, get into the playoffs as a top 5 seed, and get into them fucking healthy.

More wins also means more flexibility for load management. This season will be a campaign.

Win.

Did anyone catch what TNT did during their pregame show for Russell? They spent almost 45 minutes on him, including a 30 minute piece with a ton of interviews, it was amazing and extremely powerful, and had a bunch of incredible small stories I've never heard, and I'm sure most haven't. Dusted up a bunch of times as well. I'm sure its going to end up all over the internet, so if you missed it I highly recommend finding it

edit:The piece was called "Bill Russell Answer the Call"

Is anyone else getting the audio about a half second earlier than the video? Either that or Ian Eagle is good at predicting which shots will go in.

edit: okay not just me. Anyone else on YouTube TV?
