Given the lack of McAvoy, I was expecting the Panthers' offense to be a huge challenge tonight. Defense is shaky right now but they got it done. Ullmark was also phenomenal.

That was exciting. Sure, a few things to work on in practice but no complaints here, great effort. Ullmark was stellar. Surprised that DeBrusk was back and man did he have a game.

Keep it rolling.

The difference between Monty and Butchy's systems is staggering. Yes obviously SSS applies. But they just look looser and less concerned that the slightest mistake will doom them. Excited to see how they look with everyone back.

Yeah Ullmark was big in spots with some of the D breakdowns.

Haha yeah I always want to through in the “Kcha”“Chuck” into tkachuk’s name when I’m typing fast. My brain can’t not do it.

That's basically a goalie's job, the D tries to make your life easy, and you are there when they ultimately have a miscue. Outside of stopping a breakaway/shootout those are my favorite saves, helping my D

Forbort gets dumped on a lot here, but he finished the night at +5. Renouf finished at -3. (in a 5-3 win, ouch).

Thanks to Hulu, I see most every Bruins game these days. What a treat! As someone who saw his first B's game in November 1963 (a week after the JFK assassination), this team is similar to the Lunch Pail AC team. In other words, extremely likeable.

They have another game tonight. In Ottawa. Will be interesting to see how they do in the second game of a back-to-back (especially when the first game was a physical, emotional grind).
