I think the problem is that you need a clear recovery to reverse the call on the field, right? Granted, it was a bad call but still would stand if there wasn't a clear recovery
I think you only need a clear recovery to prove that the defense recovered it. You don't need a clear recovery when the ball is fumbled out of bounds on 4th down, or if it's fumbled through the end zone for a touchback. So I think because it was 4th down it would go back to the spot of the fumble for a turnover on downs.

Offense just feels too afraid of making mistakes. It's hard to make decent gains while having 0 incomplete passes.

Isaiah Wynn is as big a bust as Harry. Awful when on the field, never on the field.

They could have drafted the 10 year core of the offense of the future and came away with Wynn, Sony and Harry. Christ.

It truly is a pleasure to be able to watch both Slater and Bethel on special teams.

Have they worked out Wynn at guard at all to try to savage some value out of him. I don’t know if it’s injuries or what but he’s regressed to the point you can’t play him at tackle.

Here
Wynn was actually fine when he was on the field before. His injuries might have done him in already. He's had a lot.

Is this the worst offensive line we’ve seen, or is the other post Scar version worse and I just blocked it out from my memory?

I feel like he was getting absolute raves before his rookie year injury and just never lived up to it.

Upon further review...you are correct. This is a difference from college rules. With no clear recovery the ball would be awarded to the Patriots at the spot of the fumble since it was 4th down.
only thing is absent a clear recovery it remains possible Dak could recover it legally right?
