A little sloppy in the middle but they tightened up and took it home. Liked to see the secondary scoring. Forbort goals are always a surprise but even more so with Zboril working down low and Forbort going to the left circle to pot that one. Very happy to see Greer snipe 1 (and then get a 2nd too) and like others loved his reaction.

I think this was good for an early-season win. There were absolutely some early-season teachable moments that the team needs to leverage as learning opportunities. There were also some smart decisions that led to goals that should be encouraged. Both situations give good feedback that helps teams move forward.
Was at dinner so didn't catch it live but caught it on dvr. Not the cleanest but a win is a win.
Was the nesn feed awful.for 2 periods basically? It was so bad at points that the dvr would cut off and sumo me back in the menu.
And yeah, those digital ads on the boards need to be fired into the sun. Bad enough that they exist but they're animated? Woof.
