It should never have gotten to Taillon.

Pitching was good enough today. The hitting, well, it looks like a lot of day games. Wish I could understand it.

They maybe need Carpenter for Cabrera in LF tomorrow, they have to get him in the lineup somehow.

Hope he was really out there...

That would have been Effross or Marinaccio if either were available but it still should have been Schmidt, bad decision making by NY management in the clutch as usual.

Someone has some splaining to do as to why Taillon was in for the 10th. Schmidt is the easy answer as he has pitched out of the pen most of the season. Plus, you save Taillon for if Sevy can't go distance.

Instead, Taillon won't be available until game 4. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Teams are 4-34 (now 4-35) when entering a home extra inning down 2+ in the playoffs.

The only AL team ever to win such a game was the 1972 Tigers.

IKF looked like he was running in quicksand.

What a ridiculous loss. Terrible job by the offense throughout. Suspect bullpen management. Shitty defense. Alas.

The only positives I guess are that Karinchak and Clase will be tired tomorrow, although probably still available in some form if needed.

Judge is going to get some loud fan reactions and very close media attention in the Cleveland games.

It’s one game in a short series. Cleveland led the 1998 Yankees 2-1 in a 7-game series.

cabrera has got to lay off high FBs.

They decided before the series to essentially give Taillon Effross’s role, which seemed pretty stupid but they have a lot more info than I do. Also they miss Marinaccio who I believe is healthy but just not eligible to come off the IL yet.
