I am a huge Marcus Smart fan.

He has been atrocious this season and I have no idea why he’s decided he’s the guy to close this game out

Tacko with the fight!

I've been half watching - is he overall playing well? Earning real time? Or just some nice highlights?
For a guy that before today had basically never played a competitive minute in an NBA game he's playing great.

They do have to change the whole defense when he's in the game, which is an issue, but he doesn't look completely lost.

Been very impressed with Tacko considering his prior experience in the NBA can at best be described as meaningless garbage time.

He is consistently challenging shots and protecting the rim. 4 points, 8 boards, 3 blocks and +13 in 19 minutes. I’d say he is playing pretty well.

Tatum closing this one out by driving to the hoop. I like it.

I agree, this is the first game where he really looked like a guy you could use in a playoff rotation. It sounds obvious, but his height really is a factor at both ends---there were two rebounds he just went over guys. You can't do much about that. And he had, what, three blocks?

Pritchard was quietly fantastic tonite.
He has a preternatural sense of where the ball is or is about to be, and to my amateur eye has great anticipation on D, not just in terms of jumping passing lanes, but knowing where and who to switch on to.

That Tatum drive to the hoop where be basically busted through a soft triple team (and there was a 4th guy on the horizon) to get a layup on the baseline was really really impressive

PP being legit not just in the closing 5, but also the guy you want at PG to settle them down when there's a run going on is simply shocking to me. What a tremendous pick.

Tacko did play a competitive half second in an NBA game.

I thought he was good tonight. He defended the rim, rebounded, dunked the ball a few times, and didn’t get played off the court by p/r or a three point shooting 5.

His endurance and mobility is worlds better than last season.

So much do that I was yelling at my TV “run office through Prichard” the last five minutes.

They ran it through Smart, but PP figured out other ways to contribute, like hitting the offensive glass.

Also, that long three when the Cs were reeling waa huge.

Ish Smith always plays well against the Celtics. Never fails.

Tonight wasn't the most gaudy stat line, but he definitely made a big impact as Washington chipped away with Beal on the bench.

Glad we survived. Bad second half, but a lot of individual performances to celebrate. Ojeleye's personal 8-0 run was huge after a scoreless first half. Pritchard got lost on defense a handful of times, but it's impossible to be more economical and timely with his shots. Monster double-double by Jaylen in a great bounce back game, and Jayson more than held his own against Beal. And Tacko. Tacko! Enough said. I just wished the Garden could have hosted people to witness Fall's triumph. Great minutes, great hustle.

Ugly, beautiful, shorthanded win. I'll take it, but I won't ever rest easy with this team ever. It's a 48 minute game for players and fans alike with this bunch.

Indeed. Best takeaway is that Tacko can be counted on to produce.
