right here
When east coast teams are on the west coast it should be illegal for the games to be :30 games. That extra half hour matters.
When east coast teams are on the west coast and it's a weekend game it should be a matinee and start no later than 4:00 local.
Closer on rule 2 but rule 1 still applies - I would have grudgingly accepted a 5:00 start but 5:30 pushes it to failure territory.
Vote Quimby.

The Ducks are dead last in both MoneyPuck's and NaturalStatTrick's xGF% numbers. Their two goalies, Gibson and Stolarz, are also in the bottom third in terms of goals allowed vs. expected. They are certainly a candidate for worst team in the league this year.

Third game in four days on the west coast is always tough sledding, but I do think anything less than 2 points tonight is a disappointment.

Any reason Wagner didn’t play last night? Cap issues? Seems odd to go with 7 D when you have a spare forward.

I think Wagner will play tonight. Zboril hadn’t played in an eternity before last night so he was due/deserved to get in. Gets Wagner an extra morning skate to re-acclimate. We will see what happens with Greer.

The Wagner recall is just to have a warm body as a spare. I don’t think he was really in the plans to actually play much. Doing a vet who has been buried for most of the past 2 season a favor. He gets a couple of days in the NHL and you’re not flying a prospect across the country to watch a couple of game nor opening up any waiver concerns upon sending someone back down. When they get back home after today it wouldn’t surprise me to see Wagner back in the AHL in favor of someone else

Watching the Pats season reach its merciful end, we could really use a palate cleanser in Anaheim tonight: destroy the Ducks.

Apparently not right. Wagner in. Smith on 1.

And I think that the top four D pairings are Grz-McAvoy and Lindholm-Carlo. Hags nailed it otherwise.

I'm kinda embarrassed by that post now, I mean, I could have just guessed myself and done about as well.

And thus, you’ve summarized Joe Haggerty’s career.

The longer the B's wait the more expensive Pasty will be. Sign him asap. Thats my best advice. Please listen.

It might not be the B’s that are waiting. Maybe he thinks he can get McDavid money if he waits for UFA?
It could well be. I hope not. But he may well get that amount. As far as I am concerned, whats an extra mill or two a year? But I am not in the organization. Sigh.

His agent has no urgency to do a deal right now. The pressure is all on the team, he wouldn’t be doing his job if he wasn’t trying to leverage the team into giving his client the biggest contract in the league. We’ll see the same thing with Austin Matthews next year. At the end of the day, I think it’ll get done for around 8/$88 right before July 1.

So which team is on their third game in four nights, all with serious travel, and which one is on Game 8 of a 10-game home stand on normal rest?
