So many more blowouts against bad teams this year. Love it. They maintained focus a lot better this game; the 3rd quarter lapse only lasted a couple minutes, and then Brad stopped it with a timeout and refocused the offense.
I switched to the football game, but just watched the end of the game during halftime of the football game. Great win. Nice to see Kyrie return, and then basically get to rest all at the same time. The C's forced 23 turnovers, including 13 steals. I thought Al had a really, really good game in only 24 minutes, as he went 12/9/5/1/1. Gordon/Jaylen/Rozier all kept their improvement moving in the right direction (even though Jaylen got hit with 4 turnovers, most of which should have been fouls on the other side that weren't called, as usual). Scal talked about it a lot, but Theis has been playing well, and specifically, he's doing a great job of keeping rebounds alive that he doesn't get to. When he knows he can't pull a board down, he'll do whatever it takes to get a finger or a hand in there and tip it away from the opponent and just keep it alive, and more often than not, it leads to something good, even though it doesn't show up in the box score.
Hopefully, they are really starting to turn the corner. Big test against Indy coming up. If they win that one handily, I think we can start to feel confident about this team's playoff chances again.
Yeah, you'd think he spends the offseason bad-mouthing officials instead of putting on rookie symposiums and traveling the world to better himself. I mean, that one offensive foul they called was astounding.
