Win against a bad team.

Headed into work tomorrow with a goal of primo loge seats if it isn't postponed.

I wonder if Florida is in town and has to figure out how to get out of town?

The scuttlebutt on Facebook was that the Panthers were indeed in town. No idea how they're getting out in this mess though.

Ouch, that’s not a good look then.

I actually would have trudged down tonight I think too, my own game got canceled.

Sober January (minus Saturdays) is really gonna be put to the test today.

Jaffe said both teams and the refs are in town. Weird. Florida does have a came tomorrow, but I can’t see why a game tomorrow would impact a game tonight. Might as well play the one you are in town for.

Usually this happens when the T shuts down, but I believe it is still operating? Alas, World Juniors and golf it is this evening.

That's the thing, T is still running, and the worst of this thing is supposed to be done by 5.

We've turned into wimps.

Guess that's why our tickets finally sold, someone probably hoping to resell at a higher price for the makeup game. Bah. If it winds up being the last game of the year and fan appreciation like a few years back that'll suck.

Too much liability if anyone gets in accident on the way in or out. I bet the insurance companies make the call on stuff like this.

They can't be held liable for a ticket owner's voluntary decision to drive in the snow. Still, the PR portion is the problem, in that they are "forcing" people to use their tickets and drive in the storm. Ultimately, this is called by the league, so it's on them.

Thankfully I had just transferred my tickets to a friend, so they are being sent back to me. So, at least I will get to use them.

This also has to do with the stadium vendors and workers having to get there as well. I get why they cancelled the game if safety getting there is an issue. Also, the city may have chimed in and told the team they did not want to divert resources to the game that they needed elsewhere.

Yeah but they’ve played in much worse than this too. Seemed surprising since it doesn’t seem terrible to be able to get to the game later on.

Highest tide recorded in Boston in 100 years. It would have been (figuratively) criminally stupid to have a game, or any sort of large public event, unless they were going to go with chicken pox rules, and just have no one in the rink except the players.
