The way Tatum/Jaylen are now they just don’t need a guy like Kemba. Just someone who can handle the ball, distribute, space the floor, and compete on D.

Kemba has much better synergy with his screening big. Would be curious to see how many assists he has to JB/JT.

Celtics are too quick for Lakers when they are being active...wonder if LA goes smaller coming out of TO

PP is what they need. Brad needs to put his big boy pants on at some point and make a switch.

The J's can go into scoring droughts, especially when the pressure is turnedup. That's when a guy who can score against normal pressure is crucial. Kemba is supposed to be that guy... but other than a few 5 minute stints here and there ... Kemba is doing a Jason Terry on the Celts imitation (voluble, nice energy, no scoring)

Not sure how much of the stuff he has figured out on O can/will translate on D. Has become so good at getting to the rim, avoiding charges, finding good shots, much better passer on the move—that sort of intangible-ish stuff. It’s much more intangible on D. Can’t get in the gym and work on your defensive awareness the way you can work on your handle.
Yeah, totally agree. It's the one thing holding him back from superstar status (and the reason some of his advanced stats , and ON/OFF stats are only OK).

I'm hoping just more reps will get things trending in the right direction, but its not something as straight forward as working on his 3 Pt shot and handle. He obviously has the athleticism and intelligence to improve, but he's a step slow on that end of the floor.

Did Teague take 8 steps?

Bob Williams might be the fastest guy his size in the the NBA

Other than Little Caesar's and Elios, and whatever it is they make in St. Louis, is there anyone that does NOT outpizza the Hut?

This is a great game. Defense is playing much better, just no answer for Davis. He’s an impossible cover. Williams only guy that can make him uncomfortable but even then he is so talented he can hit it.
