With the return of DeMarcus Cousins, Golden State is fully healthy and has won nine games in a row overall, eight straight on the road. Meanwhile, the C's are mostly healthy and have won five games in a row overall, 10 straight at the Gahden.

To gird ourselves for tonight's epic matchup, let's savor last season's sweet home win in Nov. '17, considered by some to be Boston's best defensive peformance so far under Brad.

92-88 last year, think we'll see a little more scoring this year. 108-102 C's.

A nice watch of the 19-0 Celtics run in last year’s contest at the Garden. Let’s go!

I'm entirely too excited for this game. Just please don't get run off the floor. Brad needs to be ready with his timeouts tonight, because you know the Dubs will get hot at some point, and you can't let them just rock a 20-2 spurt when it happens. I want to see Kyrie put on a clinic, and like others have said, Baynes and Jaylen both need big minutes tonight.

Brad won't do it, even when it works.

The funny part is he called playing Baynes (6'10") & Horford (6'10") together as "playing big" against Gasol (7'1") & Jaren Jackson Jr (6'11").
sigh
Al and Baynes together was so good last year. Bring it back, Brad.
I hope Baynes starts at the 5. He's played really well this year and it's a fool's errand to try to go small to match the Warriors.

I don’t. Playing big is letting Cousins get the matchup he wants against a true 5. Far better to challenge Cousins to defend Horford.
Yeah make Cousins have to run out to the three point line over & over all game.

I imagine you noticed what pairing was on the floor for almost the entire 19-0 run that was posted above.

I am so mad that I have to listen to Jackson for the next two hours. Is there a worst color guy for national NBA games?

I accidentally switched over to CBS and heard Nantz’s voice. Not sure if that counts but I quickly changed the channel.

Watching that 19-0 run, and I still can't help but get pissed at Terry. Jaylen makes a jumper, then back to back 3's, and what does Terry do? The next 3-4 trips down the court, him and Smart basically play keep away from Jaylen, who ultimately makes his own offense by going up high and stealing an offensive rebound and getting fouled on the put back. You bet your ass if Terry or Smart had made 3 shots in a row, they would have made sure the ball found its way back into their hands until they missed.

I can't believe I'm saying this as the Celtics are leading, but if the Warriors stay healthy, everyone's playing for 2nd place. Boogie just completes them. And he may be the 2nd best passer on that team.

I'd give anything for the C's to keep playing with this kind of energy. Need to be better on the defensive end though. On that miss by Curry, both Kyrie and Morris went with the screener, and Curry ended up with a wide open look. Can't be leaving Steph fucking Curry to cover someone else. Like ever.

It will take a lot to even win a game in the finals against them. Sucks big time it’s a done deal but just gotta hope KD leaves & then Celtics reign begins!!
