Feel like Marcus blows up an ankle at least once a year. Poor guy.

The one reason for optimism here is that we literally watched Smart's ankle explode last year in the playoffs and he was back on the court after taking a dump.

Looked like an ankle sprain to me, didn't seem like knee.

Scal said "high ankle" but I'd bet more of a traditional low lateral ankle sprain.

Grant having a game may well make the difference in spite of all else.

If anyone is also watching the Chiefs game as well, Mahomes and Marcus had the exact opposite ankle injury mechanism.

High ankle eversion for Mahomes, low ankle inversion for Marcus. Low ankle far more common in basketball than a high ankle.

Could just be extreme caution given which knee it is... At least I hope so.

Way more concerned about a left knee issue for Rob than than Marcus ankle sprain.

Gross.

Thought Luke held up pretty well there. Was worried he would really struggle against Toronto's athleticism.

Damn, what's Williams going to make next contract, per year? I was thinking $16-$18m, but he's at 40% shooting from three, so $17-$20m looks more likely, possibly more.

Looking at bigs that would fit into a trade exception and it's not an inspiring list.
