Yes, I was thinking of the hypothetical scenario in which the 3rd goalie has to come in for team A, one of team A's rostered goalies then recovers, and then team B loses its second goaltender.
Yeah, I actually don’t know if that is possible.

Not that they would ever do it, but could Fenway handle an NFL game? I know football has been played there and wonder if the Pats ever considered it.

Feels like one of those games in which the "worse" team could steal, as seemingly what happens to the Bs a handful of times each year (see, e.g., last game vs. Buffalo).

The puck is sticking & bouncing everywhere, and no one on either team can complete a pass cleanly. I don’t know what these guys are talking about “the ice is good”

Can’t take anything away from this one way or the other due to the ice. It’s not like Pittsburgh has found some blueprint how to stop the Bs. Unless the playoffs are moved outdoors.

The Bruins are the worse team today, and a point would be a steal.
Gretzky looks embalmed.

Pens are also on a lengthy losing streak and just barely hanging on to the WC2 spot right now. They're shifting their lines like a playoff game as a result.

What the fuck is that? A show about guys slapping each other in the face? There’s a lot of stupid TV out there.

The ice is terrible -- Charlie said as much in the interview after the first -- and it shows. I would think that negates much of our advantage. Guess best to sit back and enjoy outdoor hockey.
The ice doesn’t have to be that bad. I think the NHL tries too hard to duplicate their indoor ice, instead of making the best outdoor ice possible.

The REAL issue making the ice isn’t that there’s not a roof overhead, it’s that there’s not a level concrete surface underneath - and the NHL likes to keep the ice thin, so they can better control the ice temperature…which in my opinion compromises the integrity of the ice. I think they’d be better off giving up on trying to micromanage ice temps, and going with a thicker, stronger sheet.

Further observations;

1. I like how they laid out the ice to give a certain set of seats an actual decent hockey experience.

2. The dark mid-ice logo is giving me fits. I can’t help it. Sure today is cloudy, but that thing must be a total menace in the sun.

3. 14 Years out from 2008 and the Winter Classic is still a big deal. Hope they can go even further establishing ice hockey as an actual indoor/outdoor sport at all levels.
