This team reminds me of the Cavs teams of the previous two years. Could give two shits a lot of the time during the regular season and won’t really put the effort in, specifically on the defensive end. But when it comes down to it they will dig in when the games matter most.

Programming Update:

Harden has 53 (18-19 from line) at end of regulation after the Nets poured in 46 in the 4th to force the 131-131 tie at end of regulation.

Some solid numbers:

Irving: 27 points, 18 assists (career high)
Horford: 24 points on 9/12 from field, 7 boards
Tatum: 16 points, 10 boards
Hayward: 18 points, 5 boards

Brown was only 2 for 9 but he was aggressive at times and chipped in 5 boards, Baynes was 4 of 5 from the floor.

Loved the energy from the team and the fans the last five minutes of the game. Great, statement win.

Outstanding.

Q: does MVP-candidate Kawhi ever set up his teammates for easy buckets? Beyond being happy with the outcome of this game, I'm happy that Kawhi's ballhoggery was punished (and that Kyrie and the Cs' far superior ball movement was rewarded). Even when he was making them, I was thinking it was shit basketball.

Woooooooooot! Off the ledge, Cs fans!!
