The Charlotte feed’s human interest story in the third quarter was about Grant Williams playing chess.

Seeiously.

They also love Horford.

“Celtics… putting on a clinic!” Discuss the assists.

Did you see how fast Mazz yanked Hauser after that passive display of defense? Guy goes through his chest, scores a layup, and exposes Hauser's lack of physicality.

The Charlotte announcers are mentioning the fact that Brogdon has a Master’s degree again.

Ball is a pretty bad defender. I can imagine Draymond punching him in the face, too.
I'm pretty bullish on the future defensive prospects of guys who are:

-Long
-Young
-Athletic
-The best offensive players on bad teams

He's too slight to ever be great, but I don't see why on a better team he'd be as good as his brother.

Charlotte's broadcast is hilarious

Pritchard rebound kick-out to a wide open Brogdon

before Malcolm even shoots the ball the announcer says

UGH....THIS IS GOING TO HURT

Shows you how badly we need wing depth.
I don't know if this is sarcasm, but we've got 3 of them out with injuries (counting Gallo) and we're just trying to grab a couple of minutes until the starters come back. Not a team in the league wouldn't be in the same situation if they were missing that many guys.

I’m glad someone else is watching this with me.

Scal saying Tatum looks like he’s out there doing drills is so spot on. He’s always looked to me … almost like a robot? In a good way. He can engage so many different things out of its bag but for some reason it looks really different compared to other superstars, like you can see the amount of practice that’s gone into every move he has. Step back, side step, lefty lay up… his ability to repeat the same motion is really unusual, like you could make a compilation of his moves and they’d just overlap perfectly.

I'm convinced we could do better than Hauser and Jackson as wing depth. You're certainly entitled to feel otherwise. Injuries are exactly why you need depth.

It will be shock if Stevens doesn't add a piece or two at the deadline. Probably a flawed but dependable 3-D guy and another bucket getter who can come in and try to score for a few minutes a game.

Hauser was probably not ticketed for much playoff run but this stretch kind of ensures it. As you note, if they have to go to those guys, they are kind of screwed.

Not sure Scal should be highlighting Horford's defense against Ball. Melo blew right by Al which is no shade on him. Ball does that to a lot younger, more athletic players too.

I think Ball is like the only player I’ve heard about from the Charlotte announcers. Everything else is Celtics.
