Kenny seems to think if the Celtics had Keevan Looney things would be different.

The Celtics defense has been poor tonight, but they’ve been one of the best defenses in the league this season, any real criticism about their effort or effectiveness on the defensive side of the ball needs to at least acknowledge that.

Was the b2b the reason Marcus Morris just stood there, while Whiteside went after the ball and threw it off of him? Or is that just shitty, uninspired basketball?

holy fuck, this has been an extremely frustrating game to watch. i’d rather see the third stringers out there.

I am sure the B2B is a factor, but they just aren't playing hard right now. It is like they decided they weren't willing to work hard once the Heat got a big lead.

If Marv wasn’t a 100 years old he would have said something about Shawn Michaels.

it's not like they rode their bikes to Miami
Flying, even on a charter flight, is taxing on the body given the changes in air pressure and oxygen levels. Playing an NBA game, regardless of how closely contested, before flying adds to the fatigue factor. Then you have to consider that the Cs probably landed in Miami at 2 or 3am. Then you add in the fact that some people don't sleep well on the road and you can start to see how even highly conditioned athletes might be tired. Then you layer on an earlier than normal game time to accommodate TNT and this performance isn't so surprising.

I will try to find the articles but this isn't simply excuse making. There is a reason the league moved to minimize back to back games recently.

Kyrie started great but since about midway through the second quarter he’s been garbage.

This game can go one of two ways: the c’s cut the lead to 15 here and eventually win, or they put rozier in, the offense stalls again, and lose by 22.

I’m not saying it’s because their jersies are so much better than ours, but I’m not not saying that.
