That Hayward putback looked...less than athletic.
I'm sure they were up for it, but no starter played more than 25 minutes and no player played over 29. In terms of being ready for the 2nd night of a B2B they came into tonight about as rested as you can be.They got up hard for it and focused really hard through those quarters. If you don't think that takes significant energy, I'm not sure what to say.
I mean, what can I say...they're clearly fatigued. I think the length of the flight is underrated--Miami is actually a bit of a haul for a b2b.I'm sure they were up for it, but no starter played more than 25 minutes and no player played over 29. In terms of being ready for the 2nd night of a B2B they came into tonight about as rested as you can be.
And as Grande explained on the radio broadcast, they started this game earlier to accommodate TNT for the second game in the doubleheader.
Go to the basket and draw contact instead of settling for jumpers and they'll get free throws. When they're going well, they don't go to the line either. Just not making shots tonight. This is a fucking joke. Not one fucking free throw in the 1st half. Miami only has 2 themselves, but jesus...
This one is not going well....
Agreed. I don't care how you travel. It affects the body the same way as anyone else flying coach on Southwest. For those who don't buy the B2B issues, there is plenty of evidence that teams on the back end struggle. I posted an article in the Port Cellar a few years ago and will try to find it again. And it does not seem to matter that teams fly private or did or did not traverse time zones. Its a real thing.
