Was this his worst game in years? I honestly can’t remember him with anything over 5 and that was normally with a minimum of 7 assists or so. 5 assists and 8 turnovers is a really abnormal game for him

They’re just not as dominant right now as they were last season. Whether it is championship hangover, fatigue from the shortened offseason, chemistry issues with so many guys in and out of the lineup, the league adjusting to their style of play, or a combination of all of the above, they’re clearly not quite the regular season world beaters they were last season. It’s possible that they can just flip the switch in the playoffs but something feels a bit off right now. Hopefully they get hot and go on a run soon.

I’ll repeat this question. Anyone else on this team has 8 turnovers it’s a fucking meltdown. I want to hear why (or why not) this performance gets basically no posts in a game thread

Tatum was bad, the TOs were hideous & unforced. BUT we've seen stinkier Tatum performances.
He wasn't on the court for the first 6 mins of Q4 when they defensively let go of the rope. That group turned a tied game (76-76) into a 14-pt deficit.

White, Jrue, Hauser and Pritchard were terrible

Jaylen Brown was great down low but then decided to start clanking 3s & stop playing D.

Because it was such a horrible game, it's the kind you burn the tape and hope it never happens again.

These guys look like DEN from last year. They aren't playing with any joy or emotion.

Edited to just say: poor game from everyone. I wish these weren't starting to stack up. They are healthy and need to hit their stride sooner rather than later. But not worth getting legitimately angry about.
