This was the kind of game that gives credence to the sense that hockey outcomes are arbitrary. I don't think there was a 45 second section of that game that Washington dominated and most of the game did not even rise to the level of back-and-forth. And I'm not even convinced that it was Halak's fault either (the third one was not OK, but the first two were pretty tough).
