      I'm completely fine with that deal if true. Hamels would be 5 yrs @ 22 AAV. This is 6 yrs @ 23 AAV. Basically the same AAV, just 1 year longer, and we don't have to give up our prospects. Love that Henry is willing to go over the luxury tax.

    Pablo just worries me because of his size. Seems like much of his game is based off his athleticism (ability to hit terrible pitches), which might be quick to go as he ages at his weight.

      I'd be surprised and don't expect it to happen, but if it is 75-80%, to me it makes sense to rest him for the last 2 months of the season and let him come back 100% healthy next year.

    We better sign him. Because if we don't, the Yankees will. I can't stand the idea of Lester pitching against us 3-4 times a year, shutting us down, and then being dominant for the Yankees in the playoffs. We need to lock him up.
