    Round 1 Bruins-Leafs

Lohrei called up. I would play him. A big problem is they can’t break the puck out, something he excels at. A risk defensively but worth the gamble. They can swap Shattenkirk for Wotherspoon or Forbort to maintain the stay-at-home PK presence that Peeke was providing.

Also, in general, the problem to me is the offense. They don't possess the puck, they don't shoot unless they get close and they don't that often enough. The rest is ancillary.

Kinda under reported but a big problem is Marchand has 4 goals in his last 33 games. The depth guys have been fine but they kinda need him to be a 2nd weapon behind Pastrnak.

    Round 1 Bruins-Leafs

The Bergeron effect. They can't handle Matthews. 31:49 for Matthews at 5x5, shots are 23-17 Toronto, scoring chances are 24-9 Toronto, High Danger chances are 12-6, Goals are 2-0. Expected goals are 2.53-1.87 Toronto (58%). And now they might be adding Nylander to that line. Big, big problems...

Ring me Lohrei. Can’t break the puck out.

    Round 1, Game 2 -- Toronto @ Boston

The Nylander thing is weird. Played all 82 regular season games and as far as I can tell didn't miss a shif/signifcant time in the finale last Wednesday. Then wakes up Thursday with something and can't go on Saturday, maybe tonight too?

Looks like the same skaters but maybe flipping Grzelyck and Carlo. Heinen - Zacha - Pastrnak Marchand - Coyle - DeBrusk Lauko - Geekie - Frederic Beecher - Boqvist - Maroon Lindholm - McAvoy Grzelyck - Carlo Shattenkirk - Peeke I thought Brick made a good observation on Saturday that...

    2024 PGA Tour

The stat had nothing to do with consecutive wins which is why it didn't mention Texas. It was a bit cherry picked based on the 4 tournaments he's won, but the point was no player in history had ever won all 4 of the API, Players, Masters and the RBC in their career. Scottie just became the first...

    2024 PGA Tour

This stat blew my mind. Nobody in history has won all 4 of Bay Hill, The Players, Masters and RBC Heritage. Scottie just did it in the span of 44 days. (I guess the caveat is the RBC Heritage, while a longstanding PGA Tour event and current signaute event, annually comes the week after the...

They have similar profiles. I don't believe the women women have shotlink every week like the men mostly do (the only times they don't are multi-course tournaments like Pebble and Amex) so I don't think the strokes gained are as detailed or useful as the men. Here's Nelly's ranks: Strokes...

    2024 PGA Tour

Scottie went 53 holes without making a score higher than 4. Run comes to an end at 15 where he hit a layup into the water but got up and down from 127 for a par 5.

Nelly wraps up her 5th straight. Scottie is up 4 with 7 to play. They are about to resume play after a weather delay. Field again rooting for an overnight phone call from Meredith.

    Round 1 Bruins-Leafs

Ah, yeah. Hopefully he is back to good Grz but it’s been up and down. That pair is definitely a concern. Grz can get hemmed in and Carlo can’t get pucks out and is hurt himself. Not ideal.

    Round 1 Bruins-Leafs

Yeah, Grz definitely struggled throughout the year. I do think they get a bit too immobile with him out and Wotherspoon in. And then the alternative is Lohrei who isn’t ready defensively for playoff hockey.
