There may have not been anything proving or disproving your point, but posts have been removed from this thread. Best of luck, Winston Smith!

Ryan Brasier retweets video mocking Jacob Blake response

Except it did...the key differences likely being that 1) people weren't posting/re-posting from their bathrooms on their phone and 2) not as many people were scouring social media in search of something to be outraged at. Unfortunately the archives appear to be gone, but I don't recall this...

Red Sox release statement about multiple incidents of racism at Fenway Park

I did not state that Mr. Henry "quashed an investigative report." Nevertheless, the African American victims were able to have their voices heard by an investigative reporter who recently left the Globe's employ. The victims want a settlement from the Red Sox.

Red Sox release statement about multiple incidents of racism at Fenway Park

Yep, wait to reprint the nationally syndicated story rather than do their own investigative journalism on something that happened under the Globe's watch. There's quite a history of the Globe giving horrible events in Boston a good leaving alone. Of course, if it suited Mr. Henry's narrative...

MLB 2020: We're Playing, but We Can't Agree on Anything

If they're going to insist on all of these changes, couldn't they just make this an exhibition season?

    MVP of 2004 Postseason

Ortiz, Ramirez, Pedro, and Lowe were huge. The 2003 team was great, but it needed a little bit more to push it over the top. Schilling and Folke were they key ingredients.

    All Time Eyeglass Team

I can't find a photo, but I'm pretty sure Wade Boggs wore glasses for a time during his struggles during his last season with the Red Sox.

He did save Clemens' bacon when someone charged the mound in the early 90s. A close second...Marc Sullivan, a highly touted second round pick.

MLB’s sign-stealing controversy broadens: Sources say the Red Sox used video replay room illegally in 2018

Perhaps one of the biggest questions for Cora's future with the Red Sox, beyond whatever happens, is whether or not he is a championship caliber manager without the alleged digital tactics. Perhaps 2019 is more indicative of his abilities than 2018.

Manny, Ortiz, Duquette, Gedman, and Dinneen to be inducted into Red Sox Hall of Fame

After generally being slotted in the 1st or second spot for most of his career, Boggs was chomping at the bit to get into the 3rd spot prior to the season (after he had signed a 3 year contract). There were implications that he didn't have enough power to be in the 3rd spot, but he persisted...

Speier: Disagreements led to pitching coach change

I highly doubt he'd ever be hired with John Henry as owner, but there is something to be said about Schilling's analytical skills as a pitcher. Whether or not that translates to being a pitching coach, who knows, but there could be some value in having him in a front office with a specifically...

    Starting Pitching 2019

Has anyone seen any analysis on how the launch-angle focus has affected Red Sox pitching? Perhaps some of the Sox pitchers stuff is more susceptible to it than others, and/or the coaching staff hasn't found a way to counter it?

    Has Mookie peaked?

I think it's easy to wonder that, considering how some other home grown superstars peaked (in their cases, prior to injuries)...Garciaparra at 26, Pedroia at 24, Ellsbury at 27. Hopefully Mookie stays healthy and can produce for the Sox for many years to come.

Brian Bannister, Red Sox Pitching Guru

Wow, that's amazing how simplistic their internal applications sound. It wouldn't be the only big business that throws around big bucks at other things, while not investing anywhere near proportionally in internal data development. I can only imagine what the Red Sox could do if they took a...
