    The Krafts

You just want to avoid the Jimmy Haslam situation where a homeless guy told Haslam to draft Manziel and Haslam ordered his team to do so. That's the worst cazse scenario, and I don't think that exact thing will happen here, but you simply cannot have Robert and Jonathan making football...

What do you want Pats to do with #3?

Allen wasn't very good when he got to the NFL anyway. Took him a couple of years to figure it out. I forgot how utterly insane Zappe's college stats were.

    The Krafts

Are you guys old farts like I am and remember Kraft at the practice field timing CBs with a stopwatch? It was when Carroll was the coach, it was the most cringeworthy shit imaginable. For 25 or more years Robert and Jonathan seem to have been dying to show the world that they are football...

I honestly don't care if he's likable or not. I'm just quailing at the thought that he is in any way involved in on-field decision making.

    Yeah that's a bad sign.

    The Krafts

It was reported that BB wanted to trade Mac after Year and Kraft didn't let him because he saw Mac as "another son." First one that comes to mind, the doc shows tons of second-guessing on BB's football decisions that indicate the Krafts wanted more input.

    The Krafts

I don't see any reports of Clark Hunt meddling with Reid and Mahomes. That is Job 1 of an NFL owner. The player satisfaction stuff isn't any concern to the fans. Guys like Snyder never figured that out. The documentary gives a lot of hints that Robert and Jonathan LONG to be more involved in...

    The Krafts

It's fair to say the New England Patriots may not even be here today without Robert Kraft. It's also fair to say that Robert Kraft's view on how much he is responsible for the on-field success of the Patriots is very likely vastly overestimated, and that the documentary was produced in order...

I could get behind Yetis, although games with the Avalanche could be a little awkward.

Eliot Wolf will be in charge of the personnel department,

I'm sure you're right. But the whole exercise is pointless. Nothing of note was said, no one learned anything, the whole thing could have been skipped and we'd be just fine. Draft can't get here soon enough.

Eliot Wolf will be in charge of the personnel department,

Yes, because without a presser where the GM said nothing of substance, no one would be interested in the NFL draft. I don't necessarily blame Wolf for having the presser, but it was also pointless. You can see why BB never engaged in such silliness.

With the caveat that I never thought Iginla would move either, I just cannot see any situation where Crosby wants out of Pittsburgh. He's an icon there.

Wave of mutilation: The latest injuries

That's really not true, sometimes they are called a closer (the schedule being the game situation and not days off). All pitchers are load managed.

Wave of mutilation: The latest injuries

Wasn't there some sort of plan in regards to his usage? If he threw an inning, he'd have one day off. If he threw two, he'd have two days off etc. I don't care about the closer label, but he was an overpowering multi-inning reliever for a while.
