    Not to mention that the play in schedule gives the first 6 seeds a week off before they have to play. Unless you are coming back from an injury, reducing minutes isn’t very helpful. Taking the day off is.

    I was listening to Mo Dakhil on the RealGM podcast today and he opined that the team (and the coach) were complacent about the regular season and that the did miss Westbrook because he supplied the energy and a sense of urgency.

    KG used to do this all the time. He thought that any time that a player shot and made a basket you ran the risk of him getting into a groove and shooting well for the rest of the game. I bet that he would have gotten along with Mazzulla just fine.
