So long, Framingham Lou (and other WEEI discussions)

Nope, this is correct. Even Zo was tired of working with him. He's better now.

So long, Framingham Lou (and other WEEI discussions)

Imminent is definitely the key word there. He may have some NDA left. I don't know the timeline, just that Audacy management has been telling people changes are coming. It's fluid, but if I had to bet, I think this could end up with Keefe and Jones in midday -- I've heard contradicting stuff on...

Toucher and Hardy: The new 98.5 morning show

I haven't heard anything about other changes yet. It sounds like Wallach stays in the third chair and Hardy's old spot is the one that is open, but I don't know that with 100-percent certainty.

RIP Toucher and Rich Show ... It was fun while it lasted

Not sure of that. But other people filling in have a shot at a bigger role at the station.

RIP Toucher and Rich Show ... It was fun while it lasted

Mentioned this in my column Sunday, but after talking to a few people, it would be absolutely stunning if it's not Hardy. Others that have been part of the morning show since Rich left may end up in other roles at the station. (Such as replacing Hardy in middays.)

I guess we must agree. Hardy wants the gig, as I wrote. If they do what makes sense there, everything else falls into place. Johnston is better than Wallach, but every time I criticize Wallach -- such as saying he's not good enough for the Cs gig -- I hear it from fans of the show. They like the...

    Chad Finn: Underrated

    Appreciate it. Should be fixed.

RIP Toucher and Rich Show ... It was fun while it lasted

Yeah, I report only what I know. It's entirely possible that he was there -- Mike Thomas loves him, and if he wants vengeance, that's where to try to get it -- but two people I talked to who in the building Friday morning told me they didn't think he had been in. Rich didn't respond when I asked...

Lockhart should be fine. Management has made it clear to him that they value him.

RIP Toucher and Rich Show ... It was fun while it lasted

Hey there. I have had a story up for a while with the basics. Filled in with quotes, waiting to be edited and updated. Sometimes that takes a bit. My priority isn't Twitter, which provides no traffic and is essentially useless at this point. It's having it right -- which I have all along...

Fred has a new deal. Rich does not.

RIP Toucher and Rich Show ... It was fun while it lasted

Reached out to Rich earlier (haven't heard back -- he seems to have an issue with me these days for some reason) and Fred a bit later. Have heard some stuff (not about the show ending) but need to confirm.

RIP Toucher and Rich Show ... It was fun while it lasted

He did. NBC Sports Boston for some reason hasn't been interested in moving him over to TV in the past. But really, its Rich Gotham and the Celtics' call. That wouldn't be the worst option. Scal is going nowhere, that much is certain.

It's not out of the question. I don't think the Celtics know what they want to do quite yet.

Not sure about the morning, but he did audition for afternoon drive in the Mazz role.

To be clear, I wanted Stanton OR Jason Heyward. So there.

I’ve accumulated a lot of crow recipes over the years. Hope to need one tonight. Love writing about this team.

Aw, I love hearing this. The most rewarding part of putting this together, other than getting to read a billion Gammons, Fitzgerald, and Montville columns, is hearing how some of the stories take people back to a cherished time as a fan.

That's awesome. I love the Brewster bookstore, too. Thanks for picking it up, Van Everyman, and if you or anyone else here has a copy and wants to send it to me to sign, message me here or shoot me and email at chad.finn@globe.com. I'm happy to pay for return postage.

Yeah, that's a little much. Name and email should suffice, you'd think.
